I’ve read some of the other reviews and one in particular helped me to get an accurate heart rate every time. The keys are to use the pads of your fingers, not the tips, and also to make sure that there is contact between the metal battery cover and the top of your wrist while taking a reading. Even when running at a good pace I get an accurate heart rate. So far so good … had it about a month now.

I got my Classic Petite as a birthday gift last year. I’ve been using it on a daily basis since then. I love the calorie burning feature and the fact that you don’t need to wear a chest strap to use it. I recommended it to a couple of friends as well…they think it’s absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this watch to anyone looking for a good heart rate monitor.

Nice features…..seems pretty accurate (compared to polar f6) WHEN it works. I say that because usually about 30 minutes into my workout is starts consistently recording rediculous heart rates and even sometimes starts right out of the gate with a rediculous heart rate like 329 beats per minute! I can never finish a workout of more then 30 minutes before it starts giving me outlandish heart rate readings which consequently affect the calories burned. Sometimes I can’t even get a heart rate reading. It just wont do it. It’s also extremely large and gawky looking.
Doesn’t Work – R. Miller –
I have ordered two of these watches and they both do not work. The top button on both watches that monitors heart rate will not push in. I think the watch is great, but the ones that I have gotten from this site do not work correctly.
Wouldn’t detect heart rate – Need help – Paragould, AR
When running, this watch wouldn’t detect my heart rate most of the time. I sent it back for a refund.
