The oxygen saturation reading in large digits. Below that your heart rate is in small font size. For those of us who need reading glasses, it would be better if the Nonin pulse of the same size as the value of oxygen. 
However, it is very convenient that both the saturation and heart rate are available on a screen. I did not noticeI was in the study oximeters, but ends when you need oxygen saturation length for medical reasons, you can vote in general, the length of the patient's heart. It worked very well that this device has both.
Another advantage is that the LCD is backlit. When I study oximeters, I do not really think of a function as the backlight. Once we had the device, it was obvious that a screen is backlit is a must. It 'impossible to read LCD displayotherwise in a dimly lit room.
The unit comes with a standard AAA battery. If the device uses very often during the day / night, replace the battery often (more than once per week).

We hadour pulse oximeter for about three months and is still good. Very happy with our purchase.

My father smoked the biggest regret of his life and now has COPD and use oxygen 24 / 7. He is glad I bought this toy for him. My thought was that he would "play" with him and he could see what his level of oxygen. Then when he saw his level "was angry" that could become more serious to take care of himself (he does not like oxygen, because it is not easy to lug around).
Believe me when I tell my father that "technology is degraded. He believes that a high-tech digital clock is never aComputer uses an older Nextel phone and my mother must apply for it. Oh, and I do not understand how difficult it is for him to learn to use a new TV remote control. Put it this way, my mother turns the TV for him. To his credit, he understood how to get the TV volume up and down again ….. After about six months to try.
So you can understand that I was looking for something that was easy to use. Easy to use, but for quality.
Also, this unit of the bill forn °. This child is perfect. The first time I took it was used. It became his "beautiful game" as he says. He took her to the doctor to ensure that the reading has found what his doctors said meters. According to the Pope, "his" meter is as good as his feet physicians.
Well this is my first Amazon review in ten years. I felt that I, like just, well, this counter for the elderly, because not many people would say, as my father, writes reviews of "what the internet" haha.

I bought this for my wife after she left the hospital have suffered: 2 months in intensive care for pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome, acute. We had readings checked several times with the "professional" degree oximeters in hospital and was always right on. We were able to slowly wean my wife from her oxygen supply to secure the rehabilitation and care about their homeland. Now continue to use it every time we breathe concerns or suspicions!
