I bought this seat belt use telemetry at work in the gym. Almost all the cardio machines at my gym and Polar receiver can see my heartbeat of this channel without leaning to the physical sensors. This may not be as great a victory, but is much cheaper to run on a treadmill or use a cross trainer, without taking the heart rate sensors.
The band is simple: just wrap around the chest, connect the free end ofthe strap on the sensor and wet contacts. There is no on / off button so you do not have to submit everything on it except to worry about. It 'very comfortable to wear, and I do not remember when lit. Everything is elastic and the plastic strap. The workmanship is excellent and is completely waterproof.
The tape is "encoded", which means you do not need to interfere with other people, wear belts around the gym concern means. This worksWatch the polar bear, but I discovered that the "code" with the Life Fitness treadmill / elliptical machine or elliptical trainer Precor at my gym work. I have a Polar F6 for the last 2.5 years and close the channel (w / a non-replaceable batteries) work a couple of weeks ago. I bought this tape + Channel as a substitute.
Pros: The transmitter is coded, I wont get funky readings, while I'm in the studio. My old channel that read my HR that in 220, when I click on one of the newer treadmills – obviously a disturbance in progress! In any event, incorrect.
The battery can be replaced.
The belt material is soft.
Cons: The transmitter itself is big and strong and will appear as part of your training, even if it is remotely positive.
It seems very "sensitive" – the instructions for cleaning after each use and ensure that you save the channel away from the belt …
The closure of the strap can dig into the skin a bit '.
I liked the low profile and comfort of the old style. But progress marches on, and I'm sure I will growaccustomed to the new cycle.

'm With Polar HRM for over 10 years. The new band is much cheaper, but even if you do not wash Wash to be very careful with him – in the washing machine in cold water with your hand and hold it straight all the time you wear it in less than 2 years. I bought the Polar RS800 and less than a year, Ira (infrared) can download the laptop is dead. I have probably another $ 30.00 dollars on batteries, just to avoid bankruptcy.
I called the manufacture, the "original" input before the unit must be repaired. Instead, I went to buy a competitor's solution to monitor the signal from the heart and transmits them on my iPhone.
For over $ 300.00 I wouldnt touch the other polarProduct

I have this product at a very old, the symptoms of the battery was replaced eventually die. Sensor replacement works with my old Polar Clock, and, most importantly, my model works with Oregon Scientific WM100 SmartSync Heart Rate Logger with PC Download. The only drawback is that it is medium in size with an elastic band that wraps itself meaningful to me because I use a size too big for its maximum length. Good product that performs its function as designed.
Noteaccording to the manufacturer (Polar) The battery is not replaceable, and therefore theoretically the entire bracelet sensor must be discarded. I plan to dust off my old mini-repair capacity of electronic equipment to see what I can find there, and if I'm lucky I'm able to save the old man. A better environment for Polar would once again with a replaceable battery. The sticker logo on the front, peel off eventually anyway, so it would be a good place toStart.

This is a fantastic product and useful that I buy again. This is an unforgivable mistake. The battery lasted just over a year of light use. We then learned that it can not be replaced! Not only are polar that it may take 2-5 years, who want to buy the product again. Good product ruined ethically unacceptable.
